Good question I'm nervous after 4k and many glitches we all have to wonder will they
extend to two years? Personally I think they should -

My unit has expired. Maxisys will be $900 - maxisys pro $1200 - maxisys mini and ds708 $700. I don't plan to buy a update for a year. I want to see what direction the software goes. I am not one of the people complaining and saying they should give free updates for the tool not doing what they THINK it should do. However I am slightly concerned about things disappearing from the software as time goes on.As it stand now I am very satisfied with the tools functions for the money. Nothing touches this tool for the money. I have factory tooling and anyone thinking that a autel tool is a lot of money needs to buy factory tooling and see what expensive is. Mercedes 22000- Porsche 28000 first year 15000 a year software lease - Volvo dice @ 2400 software about 8000 a year - that's expensive.

Why would the MaxiSys Pro be any more than that MaxiSys 908. The only difference is the VCI... -

If we all not buy a update, maybe they agree. And realize that this kind of "handling" of clients is not Fairplay. Even if it's a new product, why the start with MaxiSys Elite? They should better invest in the MaxiSys till it works. Actually I can't adapt a Audi A6 from 2001, so why should I invest in tools they not working . There I can buy a Codereader , it's more effective. -

2015-01-08 07:20 (Reply to:support) Thank you for clearing that up, I now feel better
knowing autel is handling this issue in such manner. Now this does not change the
fact that ford software is not the same, can you now add/put back the programmable
module istalation,programmable parameter, module replacement that we had in
version 3.0 and while your there can you please add it to the rest of the ford/mazda
vehicles. We will later discuss other makes thank you.
